Soft foods and easy meals
A calmer kitchen for an older cook
Light, a timer, a seat, and fewer heavy pots. A setup page, not a home-safety inspection.

Put the timer where it will be heard. Keep tongs in the same spot. Store the heavy pot where it does not have to be lifted from the floor. Sit down to peel if standing hurts. Use one skillet more often than a pot you cannot move when it is full.
None of this is a professional home assessment. If the stove is being left on, meals are skipped, or cooking has become frightening, that needs a person, not a blog post.
The checklist version is a simpler cooking setup. Pair it with breakfasts that already exist so the morning is not a project.
